This page is all about J.S. Bach, the great German composer of the baroque period. (He had twenty kids!)

This first song is Bach's Cello Suite No. 4. (My favourite part begins around 3:00 and goes to 3:48.)
Here's someone else playing that same little section that I like of Bach's Cello Suite No. 4, but this time on the ukulele.
This next piece of music is one that Bach wrote for the organ. It's considered by some people to be the greatest thing ever written for the organ. It's called "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor".
Can you stay with it all the way to the end? (Not everyone can!)
Here is the same piece of music ("Toccata and Fugue in D Minor") being played on glasses of water!
Bach wrote a lot of cello music. This is the very famous Cello Suite No. 1 being played by Mischa Maisky.
Here is the same cello piece. This time you can see the shape of the music.
Bach wrote a series of pieces called the Brandenburg Concertos. This next one is part of Brandenburg Concerto No. 2.
I love how suddenly it begins, and how the music never stops moving but just keeps rolling along!
You may have heard this next one before. It's called "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" and it's very calming!
If you thought that last one was relaxing, try this one! Breathe deeply and relax while you listen.
